Abstract

L'economie des ressources humaines est une branche particuliere des sciences economiques qui a pour objet d'analyser les pratiques du management des ressources humaines dans le but d'en augmenter l'efficacite, mais aussi d'en comprendre l'evolution dans le temps et la diversitea un moment donne. Edward Lazear est considere comme un pionnier de ce domaine qu'il a baptisePersonnel Economics, cette specialite s'etant structuree et developpee a partir des annees 1990. Cet ouvrage en presente les concepts, les methodes et les modeles theoriques dans le cadre d'une approche renouvelee qui emprunte aussi aux apports essentiels de l'economie institutionnaliste. Nature de la relation de travail, mobilisation, organisation et developpement ou production des ressources humaines sont les quatre themes examines dans cette perspective, qui se demarque des discours usuels sur les RH.
