Abstract

L’objet-alcool tient une place anthropologique dans nos sociétés en permettant une inscription sociale autour de l’alcool dit « festif » qui valorise l’expression sublimée de pulsions libidinales dans un contexte socialement défini. Les consommateurs extrêmes ou les abstinents qui refusent de s’inscrire dans cette dynamique détruisent les sublimations et mobilisent les tabous. De ce fait, ils sont la cible d’une exclusion sociale. Dans ce travail, nous proposons de concevoir un lien entre alcoolisme et masochisme au regard du concept de « maladie alcoolique ».
