Algunos mitos y algunos fantasmas de la ciencia española

Abstract

Sur quelques mythes et fantômes de la science espagnole L’histoire des sciences espagnoles est remplie de morts-vivants : des présences intermittentes et fugaces, des cadavres sans sépulture ou méconnus. Ce sont les spectres ou les fantômes des sciences espagnoles. Dans cette contribution, nous nous concentrons sur le musée du Prado, un espace habité par ces fantômes, puisque les musées, après tout, sont des lieux de mémoire autant que d’oubli. Nous accorderons une attention particulière à deux portraits mélancoliques : celui de Jovellanos par Goya et l’autoportrait de Ramón y Cajal, le grand histologiste du tissu nerveux.
