Abstract

Résumé On a considéré à travers deux études réalisées à propos des représentations sociales du vin les questions de la pratique de consommation (Etude 1 et 2) et celle du niveau de connaissance (Etude 2). D’un point de vue théorique, les résultats montrent un effet majeur des pratiques de consommation sur la structure de la représentation sociale étudiée (Etude 1), et révèlent l’importance de la prise en compte du niveau de connaissance (Etude 2) pour la compréhension de la façon dont cet objet est perçu. D’un point de vue appliqué, ils montrent contrairement à ce que l’on pourrait penser que les variables de position sociale ou de genre, par exemples, ont des effets limités d’un point de vue représentationnel en comparaison de la variable de consommation, et fournissent de ce fait des éléments de compréhension indispensables pour communiquer autour de cet objet.
