Institutional, evolutionary and cultural aspects in Max Weber's social economics

Abstract

Résumé Une des idées centrales de l’Économie sociale de Max Weber concerne l’évolution des organisations institutionnelles. Dans la première partie de l’article, je montre que Weber peut être interprété comme un économiste institutionnel. Dans la seconde partie, je reconstruis l’aspect le plus important de l’institutionnalisme de Max Weber, à savoir les interrelations entre les idées, les intérêts, les institutions et les ordres sociaux. Dans la troisième partie, je démontre comment Weber applique cette approche institutionnaliste en examinant son explication économique des entraves au développement en Chine. En suivant les concepts de Weber, j’effectue finalement quelques propositions destinées à enrichir la recherche économique contemporaine.
