La venganza en la tradición de los Siete Infantes de Salas

Abstract

Dans ce travail on analyse la fonction de la vengeance dans Siete Infantes de Salas (o de Lara) en tant qu’instrument pour resoudre des conflits politiques) ainsi que le rapport de celle-la avec la vengeance dans le Cantar de mio Cid. On soutient que, dans les deux traditions, la vengeance acquiert differentes modulations qui la justifient ou l’invalident et que, loin de fonctionner en marge de la loi, elle y est integree comme un element legal de restitution de l’ordre social. Une confrontation des differentes versions ou l’on formalise la tradition des Siete infantes de Salas montre, cependant, que le controle de la vengeance par la centralite politique – de plus en plus evident au fur et a mesure que la tradition avance – n’est pas exempt de contradictions.
