Abstract

Objetivo: Verificar as alteracoes dos niveis sericos lipidicos/lipoproteicos (HDL-c, CT, TG, VLDL-c, LDL-c) em cadetes da AMAN, ocorridas apos um programa de exercicio fisico aerobico com intensidade na zona do Fatmax (55 ± 3% a 72 ± 4% do VO2max). Metodos: Participaram do estudo vinte e nove cadetes do sexo masculino, com idades entre 20 e 22 anos, percentual de gordura corporal igual e/ou superior a 14%, divididos em dois grupos: grupo controle (n=13) e grupo experimental (n=16). Foram dosados os niveis sericos dos lipidios/lipoproteinas de todos os participantes, antes e apos o programa. O treinamento do grupo experimental consistiu de 12 semanas de exercicios fisicos aerobicos, na zona de intensidade do Fatmax. Todos os grupos (controle e experimental) realizaram o Treinamento Fisico Militar (TFM) durante o programa. Resultados: Nao foram verificadas modificacoes significativas nos niveis sericos lipidicos/lipoproteicos dos cadetes apos o programa em questao (analise intergrupo). Contudo, quando analisados de forma intragrupo, foram verificadas diferencas significativas na maioria das variaveis (p<0,05). Conclusoes: De acordo com os dados, o programa de exercicio fisico aerobico com intensidade na zona do Fatmax, aplicado de forma complementar ao TFM, nao proporcionou modificacoes significativas nos niveis sericos lipidicos/lipoproteicos dos cadetes da AMAN.
