Construção e aplicação de um objeto virtual de aprendizagem (OVA) para o ensino de química: abordagem da temática sabão

Abstract

No Brasil, o Ensino de Química enfrenta muitos desafios, que vão desde a formação de professores até à docência. Ainda, o professor tem que lidar em seu ambiente de trabalho com as diferentes leituras de mundo do seu alunado. Isso faz com que seja necessário o desenvolvimento de diferentes ferramentas na prática pedagógica, a fim de possibilitar uma maior apropriação de conceitos por parte desses indivíduos. Dessa forma, com o intuito de propiciar discussões/explicitações de ideias e a contextualização de conceitos, o presente trabalho apresenta uma proposta para o ensino de Reações Químicas, utilizando como subsídio um Objeto Virtual de Aprendizagem (OVA) sobre a temática Sabões e Detergentes. A ferramenta foi aplicada junto à 25 alunos de uma escola pública federal. Os resultados evidenciam que as atividades desenvolvidas contribuíram para despertar e motivar o interesse dos alunos, assim como possibilitou a apropriação dos diferentes conceitos que estavam em estudo.
