Um estudo das questões de ciências do PISA: analisando os conceitos transversais

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo consiste em identificar e analisar os Conceitos Transversais (CT) contemplados em questões de Ciências do PISA, em especial aquelas que abordam conteúdos químicos. As questões investigadas correspondem aos anos de aplicação entre 2000 a 2015, totalizando 59 questões. Foram analisados os enunciados das questões bem como as respostas esperadas descritas no site do INEP. Trata-se de um estudo predominantemente qualitativo em que se fez uso dos pressupostos metodológicos da análise de conteúdo. Os CT podem ser considerados como conceitos unificadores que têm aplicação em todos os domínios da ciência, a saber: CT1 – padrões; CT2 - causa e efeito: mecanismo e previsão; CT3 – escala, proporção e quantidade; CT4 - sistemas e modelos de sistema; CT5 - energia e matéria; CT6 - estrutura e função; CT7 - estabilidade e mudança. Os CT foram utilizados, nesta pesquisa, como categorias a priori sendo que os mais evidenciados nas questões analisadas foram o CT2; CT3 e o CT5, uma vez que se encontram diretamente ligados ao conceito de letramento científico e às competências científicas avaliadas pelo PISA. Mediante as análises, consideramos que por meio dos CT pode ser possibilitado aos estudantes, ideias norteadoras, que contribuem para melhor investigar, modelar e compreender o mundo, ajudando na compreensão de fenômenos científicos e valorizando a aprendizagem científica como um processo.
