Introduction L'industrie du logiciel libre a atteint un premier degre de maturite : la technologie couvre l'ensemble du domaine informatique ; elle est globalement competitive face a l'offre proprietaire ; un ecosysteme complet fonctionne pour fournir aux utilisateurs les produits et services necessaires ; enfin cette economie est globale et s'adres- se au marche mondial. 2. La GPL, licence du logiciel libre La « General Public License » ou « GNU Public License » regit la majorite des logiciels libres. Elle etablitc que le logiciel doit etre livre avec son code source, ce qui permet notamment de le modifier et de l'ameliorer, mais aussi de s'assurer de son integrite et de developper des applications compatibles.
