Transient Interference Excision in China Experimental OTHR

Abstract

Le radar transhorizon a onde de ciel recherche les cibles apres reflexion sur l'ionosphere. Il est dote d'une grande portee et couvre une large zone, mais il recoit de forts echos du terrain et de la mer, et il est soumis a de fortes interferences : interferences radiofrequences, bruit industriel, bruit impulsif, echos sur les trainees meteoriques, etc. Les interferences peuvent etre divisees en deux classes : long terme et transitoire. Les interferences transitoires sont courtes, mais de forte intensite. Dans cette communication, on commence par analyser les caracteristiques des interferences, puis, en situation de fouillis de mer, on utilise une decomposition en elements propres pour separer le fouillis de mer et le filtrer, ou bien, en situation de fouillis de terre, on filtre le fouillis de terre dans le domaine frequentiel puis on revient dans le domaine temporel ; ensuite l'interference transitoire est detectee, puis excisee des echos recus et finalement, les echos de cibles et de fouillis excises sont predits par l'algorithme de prediction lineaire de Burg. Cette methode de traitement a ete appliquee avec succes a des donnees reelles du radar experimental transhorizon chinois.
