Promesas y Juramentos en el Cantar de Mio Cid

Abstract

Este articulo se centra en el analisis de las promesas y votos en el Cantar de Mio Cid. Estas no han recibido la atencion que merecen, puesto que aparecen en el poema castellano desde el principio hasta el final. Aunque podrian ser analizadas como un mero fenomeno verbal, este articulo muestra como las promesas y votos muestran conceptos como el modelo del caballero perfecto y reflejan los intereses de la nueva nobleza, que estaba enfrentandose a la vieja. Las promesas y los votos, por tanto, deberian ser considerados en el Cantar como un medio para comprender algunas de las ideas principales que el texto contenia y trataba de extender entre su audiencia.This article focuses on the analysis of promises and vows in the Cantar de Mio Cid.
