Pengaruh Pupuk KCL dan Pupuk Kompos Terhadap Tanaman Sayur (Studi Literatur)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pupuk Kalium Klorida (KCl) dan pupuk kompos terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sayur berdasarkan studi literatur. Sebagai sumber utama kalium, pupuk KCl penting untuk fotosintesis, menjaga keseimbangan air, dan meningkatkan daya tahan tanaman terhadap hama dan penyakit. Meskipun dapat meningkatkan hasil panen, penggunaan pupuk KCl yang berlebihan dapat menurunkan kesuburan tanah karena meningkatkan kadar garam. Kompos adalah pupuk organik yang mendorong mikroba tanah yang baik untuk perkembangan tanaman, memperbaiki struktur tanah, dan meningkatkan kemampuan tanah untuk menahan air. Namun dibandingkan dengan pupuk anorganik, kompos melepaskan unsur hara lebih lambat. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi penggunaan pupuk KCl dan pupuk kompos memberikan manfaat yang lebih optimal dibandingkan penggunaan masing-masing pupuk secara terpisah. Kombinasi ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penyerapan nutrisi oleh tanaman serta menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem tanah secara berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan hasil pertanian yang ramah lingkungan dan produktif, penting untuk menerapkan strategi pemupukan yang tepat dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi tanah dan dosis.
