Tingkat Kerawanan Banjir pada Sub DAS Pesing Kecamatan Pleret

Abstract

Banjir yaitu kondisi ketika laju aliran di sungai yang relatif lebih tinggi dari biasanya, genangan yang terjadi di dataran rendah, kenaikan, penambahan, dan melimpasnya air yang tidak biasanya terjadi di daratan. Banjir di daerah yang diteliti terjadi akibat dari kondisi Sub DAS Pesing yang tidak memadai. Pada saat curah hujan tinggi, debit aliran juga meningkat sehingga outlet Sub DAS Pesing yang bermuara ke DAS Opak penuh dan mengakibatkan terjadinya luapan di Sub DAS Pesing. Banjir di daerah penelitian pernah terjadi pada tahun 2012, 2015 dan 2019. Berdasarkan banjir yang telah terjadi di daerah yang diteliti, perlu diketahui penyebab terjadinya banjir dan tingkat kerawanan sebagai acuan pengendalian yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi tingkat kerawanan banjir di daerah tersebut. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini akan mengkaji mengenai tingkat kerawanan banjir pada Sub DAS Pesing. Hasil penelitian yang didapat ditemukan 3 kelas tingkat kerawanan banjir dari total 5 kelas. Kelas tingkat kerawanan banjir yang ditemukan yaitu kelas tingkat kerawanan yang rendah seluas 584.446 ha atau 35,69% dari luas daerah penelitian, kelas tingkat kerawanan yang sedang seluas 925.243 ha atau 56,501% dari luas daerah penelitian, dan kelas tingkat kerawanan yang tinggi seluas 127.877 ha atau 7,809% dari luas daerah penelitian.
