AVALIAÇÃO DA RUGOSIDADE SUPERFICIAL DE UMA RESINA COMPOSTA UNICROMÁTICA

Abstract

A obtenção de restaurações em resina composta com bom acabamento e polimento é importante tanto para a estética quanto para a sua funcionalidade e durabilidade. No presente estudo foi avaliada através do rugosímetro, a rugosidade superficial de uma resina unicromática quando submetida a diferentes técnicas de polimento. Foram selecionadas duas resinas compostas indicadas para restaurações diretas em dentes posteriores (Opallis e Vitra Unique) com as quais foram confeccionados 40 corpos-de-prova, sendo 20 de cada resina. Foi utilizado também dois grupos de materiais para as técnicas de polimento, sendo os discos, optimize (TDV®) + Diamond flex (FGM®), e os discos Diamond pro (FGM®). Teve como resultado que a resina composta unicromática Vitra Unique de marca comercial FGM, após submetida a análise de sua rugosidade superficial através do rugosímetro série 178 da marca Mitutoyo®, apresentou um grau de polimento maior, ou seja, uma superfície mais lisa e brilhante, quando comparada com a resina composta convencional micro-híbrida Opallis. E que as resinas que foram submetidas a técnica de polimento com Optimize TDV® + Diamond flex FGM®, apresentaram menor grau de rugosidade superficial. Palavras-chave: Resina. Rugosidade. Polimento.
