Abstract

Dalam operasi SAR dan pencarian target, peta laut memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan informasi mengenai karakteristik dari fitur-fitur dasar laut. Informasi ini berguna dalam mapping objek dan pengambilan keputusan dalam menentukan metode SAR. Data utama dalam peta laut adalah data batimetri yang diperoleh dengan kontrol ketat melalui prosedur Quality Assurance (QA) dan Quality Control (QC). International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) menetapkan sebuah standar yakni Category Zones of Confidence (CATZOC) yang merepresentasikan kualitas dari survei batimetri. Penelitian ini menggunakan lajur silang sebagai data independen dalam pengujian kualitas data batimetri yang dibandingkan dengan lajur overlap dari Multibeam Echosounder (MBES). Pengujian dilaksanakan dengan 3 metode yakni 1. menguji lajur silang dan lajur utama yang bertampalan dengan lajur silang, 2. menguji 25 spot persilangan antara lajur utama dan lajur silang dan 3. menguji lajur overlap antar lajur utama di sepanjang lajur silang. Data hasil pengujian kualitas tersebut kemudian diuji kembali dengan metode analisis statistik untuk mengetahui sejauh mana data tersebut mampu mewakili kualitas data dari area survei. Hasil pengolahan menunjukkan bahwa lajur silang lebih efektif digunakan dalam pengujian data karena tidak terpengaruh oleh karakteristik dari lajur utama. Secara umum data yang diuji 97.57% CL memenuhi Orde Spesial dengan 99.84% CL memenuhi ZOC A1. Kemudian hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa data dari lajur silang mampu mewakili kualitas dari area penelitian. Pada pengujian terhadap area survei, hasil uji sampel menunjukkan bahwa kualitas dari area penelitian tidak dapat mewakili kualitas dari area survei, hal ini dikarenakan terbatasnya sampel yang ada (lajur silang) untuk menguji data lajur utama pada area survei.
