Abstract

Esta guía de Bioseguridad Hospitalaria se desarrolla en el período académico abril – septiembre 2020 como material docente para los alumnos del curso de Bioseguridad del Cuarto semestre de la carrera de tecnología en Enfermería del Instituto Superior Tecnológico José Chiriboga Grijalva, con unidad de formación de tipo integración curricular, para ser utilizado en el aprendizaje teórico y práctico. La Bioseguridad Hospitalaria es una disciplina de enorme trascendencia en las profesiones sanitarias dada la importancia que hoy día tiene. Utiliza los principios de bioseguridad, en la correcta aplicación de las técnicas de descontaminación, limpieza, desinfección, esterilización y adecuada eliminación de los residuos hospitalarios según normas.
