Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo general determinar la influencia de la implementación de un modelo de educación financiera en el fortalecimiento de la cultura financiera de los estudiantes de una institución de educación superior. La investigación fue tipo aplicada, de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño experimental de corte preexperimental, se utilizó la encuesta como técnica y el cuestionario como instrumento. Los resultados obtenidos indican una diferencia significativa entre las medias del pre y post test, con un intervalo de confianza del 95% que oscila entre -20.038 y -17.423. Como p=0<0.05, por lo tanto, rechazamos la hipótesis nula y aceptamos la hipótesis alterna; es decir, las medias entre el pre y post test son significativamente diferentes, en consecuencia, se concluye que el modelo de educación financiera influye de manera significativa en la cultura financiera de los estudiantes de educación superior.
