Centros de salud mental comunitarios: promover los enfoques centrados en las personas y basados en los derechos

Abstract

Este módulo técnico muestra una selección de opciones de atención y apoyo a las personas con problemas de salud mental y discapacidades psicosociales en la comunidad. Estos centros están pensados para proporcionar apoyo fuera del ámbito institucional, en la proximidad del domicilio. Además, el módulo incluye una serie de pasos y recomendaciones prácticas que facilitan el proceso de conceptualización, planificación y puesta a prueba de un centro comunitario que se rija por las buenas prácticas y las normas de derechos humanos. El módulo forma parte de los siete módulos técnicos que acompañan a las Orientaciones y módulos técnicos sobre los servicios comunitarios de salud mental: promover los enfoques centrados en las personas y basados en los derechos de la OMS. Este conjunto tiene por objeto prestar apoyo a todas las partes interesadas que deseen establecer o transformar sus sistemas y servicios de salud mental que cumplan las normas internacionales de derechos humanos y que promuevan un enfoque orientado a la recuperación centrado en las personas.
