Abstract

ガスターピンは歐洲及び米国に於いては既に実用の段階に達し, 今後釜々広く使用される傾向にある。鉄道技術研究所に於いてはこの情勢に着目して昭和22年よりガスタービンの研究に着手し, ガスタービンの各構成部分に就ての実験装置及び綜合的な運転試験の装置をつくり研究を行つた。運転試験の結果から, 定格運転に於いて効率11%, 出力2, 150HPという大略計算値に近い値に達し得る事が認められる。又この運転中に次の諸点に故障が起り夫々改良が加えられた。 (イ) 燃料噴射弁の閉塞,(口) 燃料予熱管の焼損,(ハ) 燃焼管内筒の焼損,(ニ) 姶動用点火栓の燵損,(ホ) 燃燒管外筒の赤熱,(へ) タービン翼の破断。各構成部分の実験の中微粉炭燃燒装置に依る実験は, 石炭の種類, 空燃比, 1次及び2次空気の温度を変えて行い, 燃焼室中のガス分析を行う事により, 最もすぐれた燃燒條件を見出し得た。
