Abstract

The research refers to a segment of the process of creation of Macedonian national identitz in the period of Enlightment. The analzsis is based upon the book "On Macedonian issues" by Krste Petkov Misirkov. His program touches upon three imoprtant elements of the ethnic identity of the population of Macedonia: the name, language and religious affiliation.
