Türkiye’deki Devlet ve Vakıf Üniversitelerinin Spor Müsabakalarındaki Verimliliklerinin Veri Zarflama Analizi (VZA) ile Göreceli Olarak Değerlendirilmesi ve Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

This book evaluates the efficiency of state and foundation universities in sports competitions in Turkey using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method and compares them. It also touches upon topics such as the definition of sports, sports organizations, the relationship between sports and education, the structural characteristics of sports activities in universities, and the development of the sports sector. The Turkish University Sports Federation, the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports, and higher education institutions that provide Physical Education and Sports (PES) education are also examined. The book provides information about the dimensions and development of the sports sector. This study can be a useful resource for researchers, sports managers, and other individuals interested in evaluating and comparing the efficiency of universities in sports competitions in Turkey.
