Yıldız Milli Erkek Basketbolcularda Antropometri

Abstract

This book is derived from the thesis titled \"Determination of Anthropometric Profiles of the National Star Male Basketball Team Players\" published in the Department of Anatomy at Zonguldak Karaelmas University Health Sciences Institute. The book covers topics such as the definition and historical development of basketball, anthropometry, body composition, physical structure and classification. Anthropometry is a field that uses body measurements to evaluate athletes' physical characteristics and analyze their performance. Body composition refers to the proportion of fat, muscle, bone, and other tissues in the body. Physical structure involves the classification of individuals' body structures. The book also discusses the concept of somatotype. This book will be an important resource for researchers, coaches, and sports scientists who want to understand the anthropometric characteristics of basketball players and evaluate their performance.
