Nanã e a esteira como território mítico

Abstract

O artigo, dividido em duas seções: a esteira como território sagrado e Nanã e a ética do cuidado, apresenta um dos ítans de Nanã, orixá pertecente as religiões de matriz africana, que está relacionada à origem do ser humano no planeta Terra. Ela está relacionada aos domínios existentes entre a vida e a morte. Nanã tramada na esteira (espécie de tapete feito com palha da costa que é elemento ritualístico para as religiões de matriz africana), de forma paradoxal, entretece esses dois campos da existência - vida e morte-, que se entrelaçam num movimento indissociável que incide nos corpos, nos territórios e na natureza. O artigo tem como intuito trazer, por meio da oralidade dos ítans, cosmopercepções que formam conhecimentos que foram invisibilizados por uma visão de mundo ocidental generalizante, contribuindo para o combate ao epistemícidio e a educação antirracista.
