Nuevas vía de ingresos para las agencias de noticias: la organización de eventos informativos

Abstract

Las agencias de noticias, al igual que otros medios de comunicación, se han visto afectadas por los cambios económicos, la digitalización y la globalización. Esto atañe a su principal fuente de ingresos, las cuotas de sus abonados. Las agencias de noticias de carácter privado deben buscar nuevas fuentes de ingresos económicos o monetizar actividades de carácter periodístico, que refuercen su trabajo profesional y su imagen de marca. En este trabajo, estudiamos cómo gestionan la agencia española Europa Press los eventos, en este caso on line, como una nueva forma para conseguir ingresos económicos, siempre elaborando un contenido con alto componente periodístico.
