Patrones socioculturales: estilos de crianza infantil en una comunidad amuesha en la selva central del Perú

Abstract

La crianza de infantes en comunidades nativas es objeto de preocupación de autoridades e investigadores por ser un segmento poblacional vulnerable. El propósito del estudio fue analizar estilos de crianza infantil de una comunidad amuesha de la selva peruana. El diseño fenomenológico permitió entrevistar a madres amueshas de Oxapampa en Pasco, hasta alcanzar la saturación. Se encontró como resultados que las prácticas de crianza infantil se ajustan a patrones socioculturales, como la identidad y cultura patrimonial comunal, que están en extinción por la presencia de factores exóticos; además de una demanda al Estado por mejores servicios de educación y salud.
