Abstract

Peralatan instrumentasi alat ukur sangat berperan penting. Hasil pengukuran yang dilakukan oleh beberapa alat ukur yang sejenis belum tentu menunjukkan hasil yang sama, meskipun alat tersebut memiliki kesamaan tipe. Keakuratan semua alat ukur akan menurun dari waktu ke waktu. Namun, penurunan akurasi juga disebabkan oleh adanya aliran listrik atau lingkungan yang berbahaya. Perubahan tersebut bergantung pada jenis instrumen dan lingkungan tempat dimana alat itu digunakan. Agar alat instrument tersebut memiliki keakuratan dalam pengukuran dilakukan kalibrasi. Mengkalibrasi flowmeter solar menggunakan standar kalibrator bejana ukur yang telah ditera ulang. Pengkalibrasian dilakukan dengan cara pengambilan data laju aliran pada flowmeter yang dibandingkan dengan hasil pengukuran pada standar kalibrator. Hasil karakterisasi berdasarkan kalibrasi menunjukkan bahwa pembacaan error rata-rata 0.01% Sehingga alat siap untuk digunakan.
