Abstract

Abstrak---Makalah ini membahas mengenai pengukuran dan analisa performansi layanan dari implementasisistem pemantau ruangan menggunakanwebcamberbasisweb. Parameter-parameter yang akan diukur dandianalisa yaitudelay,jitter, packetloss, dan throughput. Sistem pemantau ruangan ini menggunakaninterfacewebsite untuk mempermudah dalam mengakses dan memantau video yang tertangkap oleh webcam.Untuk menyediakaninterfacewebsitediperlukan webserverdan databaseserver dengan menggunakan perangkatlunak XAMPP yang sudah mendukung Apache sebagaiwebserver dan MySQL sebagaidatabaseserver.Perangkat yang digunakan untuk menangkap gambar yaitu menggunakan webcam. Sedangkan perangkat lunakyang digunakan untuk menyiarkan videohasil tangkapanwebcam ke jaringan yaitu VLC. Untuk mengambil datapengukuran menggunakan perangkat lunakwireshark. Pada tahap pengukuran, pengambilan data dilakukandengan simulasi pada jaringanlocalareanetwork. Data yang diambil dan diukur merupakan data trafikstreamingvideo antara video serverdengan client. Tiap-tiap pengukuran dilakukan pengambilan data pada limakali percobaan. Dalam setiap percobaan, pengambilan data pengukuran menggunakan perangkatlunakwireshark dalam durasi pengamatan selama 5, 10, dan 15 menit. Dari data hasil pengukuran tersebut,selanjutnya data pengukuran diolah untuk mendapatkan nilai-nilaidelay,jitter, packetloss,danthroughput.
