La poesía indianoceánica en lengua francesa e inglesa

Abstract

Este libro representa un hito en los estudios poscoloniales, en la medida en que rompe la frontera entre los estudios ingleses y franceses, demasiado a menudo separados en los estudios académicos. Profundiza en los temas y tópicos de la producción poética actual del Océano Índico, independientemente de la lengua en que estén escritos esos poemas, tratando de averiguar las concomitancias entre ellos, bajo la metodología de la antropología poética, junto con algunas técnicas tomadas del enfoque bajtiniano. Los objetivos son poner en común los hallazgos de los estudios poscoloniales en el ámbito de los estudios ingleses y franceses y utilizarlos para explorar la producción literaria de regiones del mundo comúnmente obliteradas. Esta obra se centra en distintos territorios del Océano Índico (India, Reunión y Madagascar) y en cuatro poetas, Meena Kandasamy, Ranu Uniyal, Ananda Devi y Esther Nirina, abarcando así todos los territorios implicados y reuniendo una representación de autoras anglófonas y francófonas.
