Ex-tensiones del monstruo

Abstract

Como constructo biopolítico, erigido frente a la idea de orden, de normatividad social, política, económica, jurídica, etc., el motivo del monstruo navega hacia la exaltación de la diferencia a la que no cesa de apelar. No obstante, se transforma en función de la cultura que le haya dado vida, hecho este último que nos lleva a hablar de las «nuevas acotaciones de la anomalía». Así, enmarcados en las literaturas y culturas del ámbito hispánico, los monstruos se revelan como figuras de resistencia, cuyo carácter asistémico oscila entre las doce contribuciones que forman parte de este volumen; investigaciones que muestran cómo estas figuras ponen en jaque nuestras certezas sobre el mundo conocido, actualizándose tanto en el ámbito realista como en el insólito. De este modo, sumándose a los estudios latinoamericanos y españoles realizados sobre dicho motivo, el presente volumen coordinado insiste en su vigencia, en su constante retorno, amén de las ansiedades epocales individuales y colectivas que se manifiestan en él, infinitamente resignificadas.
