Gegenstand der vorliegenden Arbeit bilden die von P. J. Gal'perin entwickelte Lerntheorie, die Theorie der etappenweisen Ausbildung geistiger Handlungen, und ihre Anwendung bzw. Anwendungsexperimente im Fremdsprachenunterricht. Gal'perin gehört zu jeder Gruppe von Wissenschaftlern, welche als 'Kulturhistorische Schule' bekannt geworden ist.
