Comparison of herbicidal properties of alloxydim and sethoxydim.

Abstract

アロキシジムとセトキシジムの殺草特性を検討すると同時にその相違を調べた。1. 27種のイネ科植物に対する活性をポット試験で茎葉散布処理を行い調べた結果, 両剤いずれも処理量を高めるとほとんどの草に対し除草効力を示した。しかしオオウシノケグサ (Festuca rubra L.) およびスズメノカタビラ (Poa annua L.) に対しては効力は低く, この両種は強い耐性をもつことが明らかとなった。全体的にみてアロキシジムは0.5kg/haの処理で高い効力を示し, 他方セトキシジムでは0.125kg/haないし0.25kg/haでこれと同等の活性を示した。これよりセトキシジムはアロキシジムの3ないし4倍の活性を有することが明らかとなった。2. 両剤のダイズに与える薬害について日本産13品種, 米国産12品種を用いてポット試験で検討した結果, 全体的にイネ科植物より耐性が高く, 品種別でみると特にキタムスメが両薬剤に耐性を, また逆にタチスズナリはやや感受性の傾向を示した。日本産と米国産で耐性に大きな差は認められなかった。薬害はダイズ葉に点状の褐変となって発現した。また薬害発現の薬量はセトキシジムで2kg/ha, アロキシジムで4kg/haと観察された。したがってこの結果と両剤の除草効力差を対応してみるとセトキシジムのもつ適用可能な薬量域はアロキシジムよりも広く, ダイズ栽培におけるイネ科雑草防除において本化合物がより高い適用性をもつものと考えられた。3. メヒシバの生育時期の違いによる両薬剤の効力変動を圃場試験で調べた結果, メヒシバの生育の進展にともなう効力低下はセトキシジムで小さく, アロキシジムではより大きかった。4. 両剤の活性レベルの差を明らかにするためポットで育成したメヒシバを用い全面散布あるいはメヒシバ葉面のスポット塗布を行い殺草活性を比較したところ, いずれの処理においてもセトキシジムの活性が高く, 前者の処理で約4倍, 後者では約8倍の活性差が認められた。5. 散布水量を変えて一定量の薬液を散布した場合の殺草活性の変動をポットで育成のメヒシバを用いて検討した結果, 散布水量が少ない程活性が高まる傾向がみられ, 特にセトキシジムにおいてそれが顕著であった。
