Abstract

1) カラスビシャクの球茎および珠芽は30~50日間0℃に低温貯蔵することにより萌芽が促されたが, 15℃の恒温条件下で貯蔵したものは全く萌芽しなかった。したがってカラスビシャクは冬期の低温により休眠が打破され, 4月中・下旬に萌芽するものと推定された。2) カラスビシャクの球茎を6月から9月までに4回にわたって掘り上げ, 地上部, 根を完全に除去してポットに植え付け, それぞれの萌芽状態について検討した。再萌芽率は, 6~7月区で80%, 9月区になると50~60%を示したが, 一般に6~9月の時期であれば, 球茎は地上部がたとえ枯死しても再萌芽する可能性が明らかになった。3) カラスビシャクの珠芽を6月から9月までの期間, 20日ごとに採取してポットに植え付け, それぞれの萌芽状態について検討したところ, 6~8月の大珠芽区で80%以上萌芽したが, 珠芽の大きさによって萌芽率に差異が認められた。また9月に入ると急に萌芽率は低下し, 9月20日区では全く萌芽しなかった。4) 球茎に形成される木子には, 他の草種にみられるような頂芽優勢のような現象はなく, 形成された木子からほぼ同時に萌芽することが分かった。
