Manipulacije rezultatima pretraživanja internetskih tražilica povezanima s cjepivom protiv bolesti COVID-19

Abstract

Internetska tražilica specijalizirano je mrežno mjesto čija je glavna funkcija pomoć u pronalaženju informacija. Informacije koje prikupljamo putem takvih internetskih tražilica često se koriste za donošenje važnih odluka iako ih se ne može uvijek smatrati točnima i istinitima. U vrijeme pandemije bolesti izazvane koronavirusom (COVID-19) primijećeno je da se društvenim mrežama širi velika količina informacija i vijesti povezanih s tom bolešću, ali su one često netočne i lažne. Ono što se često u medijima naglašava jest da bi trebalo slušati nadležne osobe i pratiti službene mrežne stranice u dobivanju točnih informacija. Da bismo pronašli takve informacije, često se koristimo internetskim tražilicama. Algoritmi tražilica funkcioniraju na način da s pomoću posebnih programa (pauka, robota) prikupljaju mrežne stranice koje se analiziraju i prikazuju u obliku poveznica na rezultate pretraživanja na internetskim tražilicama. Ono što nije toliko poznato jest da su i takvi rezultati pretraživanja podložni različitim tehnikama manipulacija kao što su na primjer astroturfing i Google bombing, a kojima je cilj utjecati na stavove onih koji ih pretražuju. Budući da je trenutačno aktualna tema cijepljenja protiv spomenute bolesti, za potrebe rada provedeno je istraživanje pretraživanjem složenih pojmova u internetskim tražilicama na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku o cjepivu kako bi se saznalo postoji li mogućnost korištenja manipulacija prilikom rangiranja rezultata.
