
ABSTRACT Blood transfusion is a basic intervention and can be an emergency in health services that plays an essential role in reducing morbidity and mortality rates, but the availability of blood products for blood transfusion needs is still lacking, especially in developing countries including Indonesia. This activity is a form of cooperation between dr. Soebandi University and PMI Jember. The Standard Operating Procedure for blood donation is carried out by PMI Jember health workers. The prospective donor form is filled out by officers to conduct donor selection which contains information including weight, height, blood pressure, and hemoglobin levels. Prospective donors who pass the donor selection will then have their blood drawn using the apheresis method
