Perbandingan Hasil Il-6 Pada Pasien Covid-19 dengan Diabetes Melitus dan Tanpa Diabetes Melitus

Abstract

Seseorang dengan penyakit penyerta atau komorbid seperti diabetes melitus mempunyai risiko lebih besar tertular virus selama terjadinya wabah COVID-19. Kadar IL-6 dapat meningkat sampai ribuan kali lipat ketika mengalami stres seluler serta membantu dalam mengkoordinasikan respon terhadap disregulasi homeostasis jaringan. IL-6 digunakan sebagai prediktor prognosis pasien COVID-19 terkonfirmasi. Peneliti ingin mengetahui apakah ada perbedaah hasil pemeriksaan IL-6 pada pasien COVID-19 dengan Diabetes Melitus dan tanpa Diabetes Melitus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan di RSUD Cilacap dengan populasi sampel yaitu data pasien COVID-19 yang dilakukan pemeriksaan IL-6. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas Kolmogorov-smirnof. Dan dilanjutkan dengan uji T-Test. Hasil IL-6 pada pasien COVID dengan DM tertinggi yaitu 5000 COI, sedangkan tanpa DM tertinggi 72,6 COI. Ada perbedaan hasil IL-6 pada pasien COVID-19 dengan DM dan tanpa DM dimana hasil IL-6 pasien COVID-19 dengan DM lebih tinggi.
