Fantazmatyczne zniekształcenie w Salem, czyli współczesne czarownice doby #MeToo i nowych technologii

Abstract

Tekst jest poświęcony analizie filmu Assassination Nation (reż. Sam Levinson, 2018) z perspektywy psychoanalitycznej teorii kina w ujęciu Todda McGowana. Wyszczególnia on cztery kategorie manifestowania się Lacanowskiego spojrzenia jako objet petit a w obszarze obrazu filmowego, z których najbardziej istotną w kontekście omawianego filmu jest kino fantazji. Polega ono na wkroczeniu fantazmatycznego zniekształcenia, czyli uwidocznieniu tego, co w codziennym doświadczeniu jest często przezroczyste. Autorka podejmuje się prześledzenia, w jaki sposób spojrzenie w formie fantazmatycznego zniekształcenia uobecnia się w filmie, a także jak angażuje widzki i widzów. Rozważaniom o fantazmatycznych wybuchach przemocy w filmowym Salem oraz o polowaniu na nastoletnie bohaterki towarzyszy odwołanie do figury czarownicy, w teorii feministycznej uznawanej za emancypacyjną. Podjęty zostaje również temat zaangażowania bohaterek w nowe technologie wraz z ich uwodzicielskim, a jednocześnie opresyjnym panoptyzmem.
