Muzyczno-plastyczne figury znoju

Abstract

Figurę znoju w Atlasie obrazów Aby’ego Warburga Mnemosyne obrazuje postać Atlasa. Georges Didi-Huberman (zob. G. Didi-Huberman, Atlas albo radosna wiedza podszyta niepokojem, Gdańsk 2020) uznał projekt Warburga za „pracownię [ouvroir] myśli zawsze potencjalnej” i „dołączył” do „atlasu pamięci” obraz muzyczny w postaci wiersza / pieśni Heinego / Schuberta Atlas. Gest dźwigania, będący wyrazem ludzkiego cierpienia, Jan Sebastian Bach zobrazował za pomocą sztuki dźwięków w swoich Pasjach. Artykuł stanowi próbę odczytania dzieł lipskiego kantora z perspektywy pojęć wypracowanych przez Warburga (Nachleben, Pathtosformel) i jego Atlasu obrazów, uznając muzyczne pasje, zgodnie z refleksją Didi-Hubermana, za rodzaj, „radosnej wiedzy podszytej niepokojem, ale i także „radosnej wiedzy podszytej nadzieją”.
