Abstract

Pegawai perpustakaan memiliki peran penting dalam berfungsinya layanan perpustakaan kepada segenap civitas akademik yang berada dalam Perguruan Tinggi. Oleh karena itu pihak perpustakaan harus mampu mengelola pegawai perpustakaan dengan baik agar bisa memberikan pelayanan optimal. Untuk memberikan pelayanan optimal seringkali pegawai melakukan pekerjaan diluar dari job description yang diberikan. Perilaku ini disebut sebagai organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). OCB akan tumbuh apabila budaya organisasi yang ada didalamnya berjalan dengan baik dan diterapkan oleh keseluruhan pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Apakah terdapat peran budaya organisasi terhadap OCB pada pegawai UPT Perpustakaan UHO. (2) Seberapa besar sumbangan efektif peran budaya organisasi terhadap OCB pada pegawai UPT Perpustakaan UHO. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 33 pegawai. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala budaya organisasi dan skala OCB. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan keseluruhan pegawai masuk kedalam kategori budaya organisasi yang tinggi dan OCB yang tinggi. Hasil analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,025 (<0,05). Ini menunjukkan budaya organisasi berperan terhadap OCB. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,152, ini menunjukkan budaya organisasi memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap OCB sebesar 15,2% sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima.
