Surdez e educação superior

Abstract

Este artigo enfoca a inclusão da comunidade surda no Ensino Superior a partir da utilização de recursos tecnológicos. O povo surdo pode ser considerado como excluídos do interior, tendo em vista a histórica dominação e subordinação. Questionamos: podemos construir universidades bilíngues a partir da articulação entre a educação de surdos e as tecnologias? Realizamos uma investigação de cunho qualitativo, pautada em bibliografias que apresentam a surdez sob o ponto de vista cultural (Strobel, 2009; Stumpf, 2010; Alves; Gomes, 2020). Abordamos as noções: excluídos do interior (Bourdieu; Champagne, 2001), universidade do século XXI e ecologia de saberes (Souza Santos, 2011), dialogando com os efeitos da massificação do ensino superior, travestida de democratização. A resposta à nossa questão de pesquisa é positiva. Contudo, as universidades bilíngues apenas são construídas a partir do esforço coletivo pela utilização das tecnologias a partir da bandeira da inclusão, sob o ponto de vista multicultural.
