PRESERVAÇÃO E VALORIZAÇÃO DAS PINTURAS RUPESTRES NO SÍTIO ARQUEOLÓGICO PEDRA DA IGREJA, NA BAHIA

Abstract

O empreendimento da Barragem de Gasparino foi todo realizado e implementado na cidade de Coronel João Sá – Bahia, através dos condicionamentos à Licença de Operação do empreendimento que o órgão IPHAN enviou o ofício que se trata de um Termo de Referência que indica a necessidade de conservação e preservação do sitio Pedra da Igreja. Seguindo à legislação e as instruções normativas, Lei 3924/61, Portaria IPHAN 230/02 e Portaria SPHAN 07/88. A Prefeitura Municipal de Coronel João Sá propõe seguindo os parâmetros pedidos pelo órgão IPHAN. O município é conhecido como a região da “Cidade da Pedra”, graças a sua inúmera formação rochosas conhecida pela população como “Pedreiras”, essas mesmas formações rochosas são utilizadas para extração de derivados de pedra. Sendo assim, sua caracterização de relevo é muito propícia para presença de sítios arqueológicos rupestre. (ABREU, 2018). Patrimônio e preservação são pontos que estão interligados. “Quando pensamos em patrimônio cultural devemos ter em mente que seu valor é dado pelo que ele representa para a memória coletiva e para a memória individual. É a parte visível de um passado comum a todos, e cujo significado depende da emoção e da memória que a ele se vinculam.” (ABREU, 2018). Dentro do Projeto de Preservação e Conservação do Sítio Arqueológico Pedra da Igreja, Coronel João Sá, Bahia a presente pesquisa tem por objetivo geral mapear e analisar os grafismos rupestres no sítio arqueológico Pedra da Igreja, possibilitando identificar a temática dominante das pinturas e os agentes de degradação do sítio além da proposição de medidas de preservação.
