Planificación del sistema de ventilación y diseño 3D a largo plazo con el software 3D ventsim, caso Mina Santander – Glencore

Abstract

En el país, uno de los mayores retos de la minería subterránea es el abastecimiento del flujo de aire requerido en los frentes de trabajo de acuerdo con el D.S. 024-2016-EM y su modificatoria D.S. 023-2017-EM. En la unidad minera Santander, Glencore, la ventilación es forzada debido a la depresión que ejercen los tres ventiladores principales, 100k cfm, 160 cfm y 120k cfm; ubicados en la superficie de la mina. El requerimiento de aire limpio en esta unidad minera es de 421,940 cfm, pero el ingreso de aire limpio es de 431,145 cfm y la salida es de 432,531 cfm, implicando una cobertura de 102%. Para cumplir, de manera transitoria, con el requerimiento de aire proyectado a largo plazo se realiza una planificación a mediano plazo; para solventar esta deficiencia de planificación, se aplica el software 3D Ventsim que calibrado al 90% la simulación del sistema de ventilación simula escenarios confiables. En conclusión, la planificación de un sistema de ventilación con el programa de diseño Ventsim permite cumplir con el aire requerido a largo plazo y realizar una evaluación detallada del comportamiento del sistema de ventilación a largo plazo.
