DIABETES INSÍPIDO: FATORES DE RISCO

Abstract

Existem duas formas principais de diabetes insípido: diabetes insípido central (DIC), que resulta de uma deficiência de ADH, e diabetes insípido nefrogênico (DIN), que resulta da insensibilidade dos rins ao ADH. Ambos os tipos apresentam sintomas semelhantes, mas têm etiologias e abordagens terapêuticas diferentes. Esta revisão narrativa de literatura reuniu artigos da base de dados PUBMED objetivando apontar quais são os fatores de risco relacionados aos diferentes tipos de diabetes insípido. Percebeu-se os fatores de risco relacionados ao diabetes insípido depende do tipo. No geral, a genética e fatores congênitos podem interferir, além de lesões hipotalâmicas, lesões hipofisárias, doenças inflamatórias, doenças infecciosas, doenças renais e distúrbios metabólicos.
