FORMULASI DAN UJI STABILITAS KRIM FLUCONAZOLE DENGAN VARIASI KONSENTRASI VASELIN ALBUM

Abstract

Fluconazole merupakan obat antijamur yang bekerja dengan menghambat enzim yang dibutuhkan oleh jamur untuk memproduksi ergosterol, komponen penting dari membran sel jamur. Kelarutan fluconazole larut dalam air pada tingkat yang cukup baik. Pengembangan formulasi yang baik sangat diperlukan dalam upaya memaksimalkan pemanfaatan efektifitas fluconazole dibuatkan formula sediaan krim. Pemilihan sediaan krim sangat tepat mengingat manfaat penggunaan krim yang memiliki tekstur ringan, tidak lengket dan cepat meresap dibandingkan dengan bentuk sediaan lain. Sehingga penelitian ini membuat sediaan krim fluconazole dengan perbedaan variasi konsentrasi vaselin album yaitu 3%, 5% dan 8%. Uji Stabilitas menggunakan metode cycling test meliputi uji organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, viskositas. Hasil pengujian stabilitas uji homogenitas dari ke 3 formula menghasilkan hasil yang homogen. Pengujian pH krim fluconazole pada ke 3 formula menunjukan hasil yang memenuhi persyaratan pada rentang pH 4.5- 6.8. Uji daya sebar mempergunakan beban 50 dan 100 gram terhadap 3 formula menunjukan hasil yang memenuhi persyaratan F1 5.7 cm ±0.069 , F2 6.1 cm ±0.173 dan F3 6.5 cm ±0.107. Hasil uji viscositas dari ke 3 formula menunjukan F1 1972,3 cPs ± 7.27, F2 2151 cPs ±5.16, dan F3 2455,4 cPs ±2.30Pengujian stabilitas yang dilakukan menghasilkan krim fluconazole stabil terhadap kondisi perubahan suhu ekstrem setelah dilakukan uji cycling test selama 6 siklus. Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa formulasi dan uji stabilitas krim fluconazole dengan variasi konsentrasi vaselin album 3%, 5% dan 8% hanya mempengaruhi viscositas sediaan. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi vaselin yang diinkomporasikan semakin besar viscositas yang dihasilkan.
