KARAKTERISTIK SIFAT FISIS DAN MEKANIS LANDFILL SEBAGAI SUBGRADE

Abstract

Sifat tanah dasar berperan penting untuk konstruksi jalan. Tanah dasar bisa berupa tanah timbunan yang dipadatkan. Sifat fisis dan mekanis tanah timbunan merupakan nilai atau parameter untuk melihat syarat kwalitasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan karakteristik tanah timbunan sebagai subgrade. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengujian laboratorium untuk mendapatkan sifat fisis dan mekanis tanah timbunan. Sampel tanah diambil dari Tenayan Raya, Kulim Kota Pekanbaru. Hasilnya sifat fisis tanah klasifikasi ML, PI 6.62% dan sifat mekanis tanah nilai CBR 17.8%. Kesimpulan Karakterisitik sifat fisis tanah timbunan tidak boleh mengandung organik dan plastisitas tinggi. Sifat mekanis tanah timbunan untuk nilai CBR > 10% berdasarkan spesifikasi Bina Marga 2018 Revisi 2 untuk timbunan pilihan.
