Analisis Pengaruh Strategi Promosi Terhadap Keputusan Mahasiswa Dalam Memilih Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh strategi promosi terhadapkeputusan kuliahcalon mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif danverifikatif dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui pembagian kuesionerkepada 98 responden, sedangkan data sekunderdiperoleh dari penelitian terdahulu. Hasil analisisregresi linear menunjukkan bahwa iklan melalui media sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikanterhadap keputusan memilih perguruan tinggi, dengan nilai thitung (26,501) yang lebih besar dari ttabel(1,985) dan nilai signifikansi (0,000) lebih kecil dari ? = 0,05. Kesimpulannya, iklan media sosialmemiliki pengaruh yang nyata dalam meningkatkan keputusan memilih perguruan tinggioleh calonmahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, perguruan tinggi perlu memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai strategipromosi yang efektif untuk menarik minat calon mahasiswa dan tetap kompetitif di pasar pendidikanyang semakin ketat.
