PEMBELAJARAN IN ACTION : APAKAH EFEKTIF MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIS SISWA?

Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi yang dibutuhkan adalah kemampuan untuk melihat keterkaitan antar konsep dalam matematika sehingga perlu dikuasai siswa agar dapat memahami matematika secara utuh dan menerapkannya dalam berbagai konteks. Pembelajaran in action, menawarkan sebuah desain pembelajaran yang menekankan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam eksplorasi dan resolusi masalah, dihipotesiskan memiliki potensi signifikan dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendekatan tersebut terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Desain penelitian yang diadopsi adalah OneGroup Pretest Posttest Design. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kompetensi koneksi matematis yang disusun dalam format uraian dan diberikan sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran in action. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran in action yang dirancang dengan baik, yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam menghubungkan konsep matematika dengan berbagai representasi, mengaplikasikannya dalam konteks nyata, dan merefleksikan pemahaman mereka, dapat meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa.
