Tiempos, educación y ocio en una sociedad de redes

Abstract

El tiempo lo alcanza todo y a todos. Sus realidades, visibles u ocultas, nos explican individual y socialmente como una dimensión clave en la construcción de nuestras señas de identidad, histórica y cotidianamente. Un tiempo de tiempos que transita entre los acontecimientos regulados por el Cronos y las experiencias vivenciadas como Kairós. En sus fronteras nos educan y educamos desde la infancia hasta la vejez, en las escuelas y en la vida. De algunas de las circunstancias que nombra el tiempo trata esta obra a lo largo de sus once capítulos. Lo hace alentando nuevas reflexiones sobre los tiempos educativos y sociales como un tema-problema de amplios horizontes cívicos y pedagógicos, en las ciencias y los relatos personales. En ellos, la cultura y lo sociocultural, la política y la gobernanza de los bienes comunes, las familias y los vínculos intergeneracionales, el ocio y la recreación, los calendarios y horarios escolares, la conciliación y la equidad… ponen énfasis en la necesidad de una mirada plural, cooperativa e interdisciplinar en los estudios del tiempo, congruente con la complejidad que lo desafía en la investigación, la formación y la acción socioeducativa.
