Enmascaramiento contralateral

Abstract

En este capítulo se pretende presentar a los estudiantes o lectores los principios de enmascaramiento auditivo. Sin un correcto enmascaramiento contralateral, es muy posible obtener umbrales de tono puro, indicativos de compromiso conductivo moderado en un oído que en realidad presenta compromiso neurosensorial profundo o una buena discriminación auditiva en un oído con discriminación realmente alterada.
