DIVERSIDADE SEXUAL

Abstract

A necessidade de abordar nas escolas temas que envolvam a diversidade sexual e que possibilitem reflexões e discussões sobre as questões pessoais, sociais e culturais são fundamentais num processo de Educação Sexual emancipatório. A pesquisa apresenta uma análise das representações conceituais manifestadas por 10 (dez) professores sobre a temática. Os resultados denotam que os docentes apresentam atitudes e concepções equivocadas que são comumente encontradas diante da homossexualidade. O presente trabalho faz parte de uma pesquisa mais ampla que compreende também a investigação dos conhecimentos e atitudes sobre a temática sexualidade manifestadas pelos professores e seus respectivos alunos.
